This book is why I love Penny Jordan's books. The hero's unrequited love for the heroine, in spite of the hero's marriage(non consummated) to a truly awful woman, is terrific. The fact that the heroine arrives at her true feelings for him, which she has had since she was 16, on her own is truly sweet.
